“I saw first hand how Alex Semenik’s training program helped Mike Tyson get into great shape late into his 30’s for his fight with Danny Williams. He was able to get Mike to lose body-fat and gain muscle while improving his stamina.”
Rick Bowers
Former Manager for Mike Tyson (Former Heavyweight Champion of the World)
“Alex Semenik’s training program helped me gain speed on my pitches while improving my overall physique and athletic ability. I was impressed with how the use of scientific principles developed by Dr. Morris Silber and applied by Alex were able to specifically point me in the right direction.”
T.J. Beam
Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates

Semenik Systems – Where The Foundation Was Built
I can remember it like it was yesterday. There was a small group of kids sitting together in the middle of a football field on a very hot and humid July morning in Arizona. They were getting ready for another Saturday morning speed training session in preparation for the upcoming HS Football season. It was 7:45AM. The session was to begin at 8. One of the trainers was sitting with the group and then looked up into the empty stands. He turned to them and said, “Look up in those stands. What do you see?” “Nothing.” was the unanimous reply.
“That’s right.” He said. “There’s no one in those stands right now. But here you are, sacrificing and committing to making yourself a better player so that one day, stadiums will be filled with people shouting your name. And always remember this; you will get out of it what you put into it.”
Sacrifice. Commitment. Dedication. Three simple but yet very powerful words.
Alex Semenik’s strength training programs, whether on the track, in the weight room or on the field were very demanding and pushed those he trained with him to the highest limits of their strength, endurance, athleticism and mental toughness. Those who sacrificed, committed, and remained dedicated throughout the often grueling training regimens were the ones who ultimately reaped the huge dividends; state titles and college offers.
No one ever said that it was going to be easy but the camaraderie and sense of unity that was forged in these workouts, even among athletes from many different high schools, guided them through the tough summer workouts especially on those hot Saturday mornings when most high school kids would rather sleep in.
Semenik Systems provides an excellent comprehensive workout plan that is specifically designed for each individual to maximize all aspects of their athletic and physical development. A key component of the program is a nutrition plan that provides the individual with the right diet to fuel the workouts and make gains in size and strength. Baseline testing is performed at the start of the workout journey and monitored at various stages to evaluate progress or, if needed, modify the workout program.
Several athletes have come through the doors of the Semenik Systems gym over the years. Those who prescribed to the program; made the sacrifice, the commitment, dedicated and pushed themselves to physical levels higher than they imagined under Alex Semenik’s tutelage, put them in an elite group of athletes physically and mentally prepared to excel in their sport.
As both a parent and coach, I have personally seen the results of the Semenik Systems training program. My three sons, Alex, Tim, and Teddy Ruben made the commitment and bought in to the plan. They have four state championships to show for it.

Tim Ruben was an athlete that trained with me for almost 6 years. His dad brought him and his brothers to my training sessions to learn the strength and conditioning system. As a seventh grader Tim weighed 100 lbs. and was running a 5.4 second 40 yd. dash. Each off-season Tim would follow the program and get bigger and faster.
Tim and his brothers and training partners would be in the gym until late hours of the night lifting weights and focusing on their goals. For years they would come out to the track when it was 120 degrees out and nobody wanted any business of being out in that heat. They did whatever was necessary at any time of the day to get their workouts in and make improvements. As a coach is was pretty fun to watch this transformation take place!
Tim’s senior year he was named the Arizona Gatorade Player of the year as a quarterback and won almost every other publication honor for state player of the year. He is the only athlete in the state of Arizona history to run for 2000 yards and pass for 2000 yards in the same year. Tim ended up weighing 180 lbs. and ran a 4.5 40 yd. dash and a short shuttle of 4.1 seconds.
Not only did Tim achieve many awards and make great improvements for himself he was a true team leader. He led his team to back-to-back state championship. In his senior year he led one of the most exciting game winning drives I have seen. With just minutes left he converted two 4th and long yardage situations into first downs to lead the team to a game winning field goal with just seconds left.

“I trained with Alex Semenik for 4 years starting in High School. He taught me the fundamentals necessary to increase my size, speed and strength to be a division 1 football player. I dramatically decreased body fat, and increased muscle to transform my body. This lead to me being prepared for college and becoming a Freshman All-American and an All Big Ten player.
Even as a businessman today, I use the knowledge to have a productive work week, stay in great shape and like to take my shirt off and relax on the weekend.”

The system is the key!”
